On 2011-05-17 in Beijing, Professor WU Yin, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), meets with Professor Patrick Monahan, Vice-President Academic & Provost of York University in Beijing, and his delegates Dr.Lorna Wright,Associate Vice-President International, Dr. Bernie Frolic, Professor of Political Sciences, and Ms Wang Yu, Beijing Office of the York University.

VP Wu welcomed York VP Monahan and his colleagues to CASS, and introduced CASS academic programs to York Professors. This meeting finalized the dates and other detailed arrangements for the CASS-York joint conference, “Impact of Migration and Cultural Diversity on Economic Development: Canada-China Symposium”, to be held at the CASS on October 14-15 in Beijing.

Professor Zhang Youyun, Deputy Director-General of Bureau of International Cooperation of CASS, Professor Huang Xing, Deputy Director-General of IEA and other colleagues from CASS attended this meeting.
