【Title】 The Phonological Evolution in the Tujia Lanugage Induced by Language Contact

【Abstract】 By virtue of the differences between the two dialects of the Tujia Language,the paper examines the process and tendency in the evolution of the Tujia phonology.It reveals the significant function of Chinese influence in the change of the Tujia phonology,elaborates the patterns and process of the Chinese loanwords in their influence of the Tujia phonology,and explores into the universal relevance of the impact resulted from language contact and the phonological shift induced by language contact.
