【摘要】 语言是族群认同中的核心要素,其重要性在新时期的族群认同中将日益凸显。从语言的历史发展、文化属性、交际工具三种属性出发,语言与族群的历史认同、文化认同、社会认同有着必然的联系,这是语言作为族群认同核心要素的根本原因。只有促进族群认同,才能为族群的语言发展提供内在动力。我们以白族语言为例说明了语言的族群认同作用通常因为社会、历史和文化条件的差异而有不同的表现形式。
【英文摘要】 Language is the core element of ethnic identity and its importance has become more conspicuous in the new historical period. Both language and ethnic groups have the attributes of historical development,cultural identity and communication tool because they are closely related to each other in terms of historical,cultural and social identity.
