孙家岗遗址位于常德市澧县大坪镇大杨村，东北距城头山国家考古遗址公园4公里。遗址本体位于一高约1.5至2米的岗地上。1991年在该岗地东南部发掘出石家河文化早中期墓葬32座，出土一批陶器和玉器，其中玉器26件，包括一对精美的透雕龙、凤玉佩。由这一批墓葬随葬品可知，孙家岗遗址应该是石家河文化早中期时澧阳平原区域一处具有较高等级的重要聚落。
