昨天，市考古所与胶州博物馆考古人员正式对发现的另一处清代墓葬进行了仔细发掘，虽然年代久远致使墓内尸骨破坏严重，但其墓穴却保存较为完整。另外，考古人员在对这处墓葬四周探测中，还意外发现了一条呈西北方向的大壕沟，壕沟所处的位置首次确定了历经千年宋代板桥镇遗址具体西侧方位，这也为研究板桥镇遗址具体面积提供了重要依据。
