1980年，周原考古队曾对陕西省扶风县黄堆村老堡子西周墓地进行钻探和试掘。由于黄堆村
老堡子西面大壕沟内的西周墓曾多次受到盗扰，周原博物馆于1992、1995和1996年三次进行
