内容摘要： 马哈拉是中亚地区特有的传统社会组织，具有悠久的历史和传统，在历史上曾发挥重要的作用。乌兹别克斯坦独立以来，政府非常重视马哈拉的社会角色，将其视为继承传统文化、维护社会稳定的重要基层自治组织，对其着意维护并加以改良。如今，乌兹别克斯坦的马哈拉重新焕发光彩，在现代社会中扮演着愈加重要的角色。

Abstract: Mahalla is a traditional social organization peculiar to Central Asia. It has a long history and once played an important role in the history. Since the independence of Uzbekistan, the government has paid much attention to Mahalla, regarding it as an important self-governing local organization to carry forward traditional culture and maintain social stability. Nowadays, Mahalla begins to take on a new look and act a more and more important role in modern society.
